Hi! I’m Ilya (he/him). I’m a positive reinforcement dog trainer and behavior consultant.

I graduated with Honors from Jean Donaldson’s renowned Academy for Dog Trainers, where I studied learning theory, dog behavior, and training. Before dog training, I was an ecologist and studied zebra behavior for my PhD. 

I help clients with fearful dogs, dog plus child, and puppy training. We often add life skills (manners) to make life together easier. During sessions, please ask me any questions about me or training.

My partner and I live in LA with our toddler and dog. When I’m not helping clients and dogs, I’m taking care of our toddler and dog, with the family at the beach or watching an animated movie, or hiking.   

I’m here for you in LA and virtually anywhere. I believe in you and your dog!
